Opportunity:
Upon going live with integrated ERP
software, our state-wide, Alaska-based client discovered
that their implemented system did not adequately
address
critical end to end business processes. Additionally, the
system’s user community did not possess the training and
documentation necessary to efficiently use the new software.
This client was faced with having to manage their rapidly growing
business with the additional challenge of having to resolve a
cascading flow of issues caused by the flawed system implementation.
Recognizing these challenges, the company postponed the
implementation of critical general account and year end
financial reporting functionality until the original set of
implemented functionality (sales, distribution, procurement,
and inventory control) could be stabilized.
